We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Ndu (IN-TN), India (IN).

1. Responsibilities:
   1. Analyzing functional Spec and Technical spec and preparing Low level design
   2. Development and unit testing for changes
   3. Participate in Testing and implementation activities
2. -resolving issues and queries

1. Providing technical input and support on need basis.
2. interacting with Functional and Business experts onsite and conveying detailed functional requirements to the offshore team
3. Ensuring required sign-offs are obtained (and where sign-offs are not forthcoming, communicates the issues or concerns)
4. resolving Test Environment issues (e.g. data availability, region availability, link connectivity, firewall

1. Requirements:
   1. Master's or Bachelor's degree (Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication/ Information Science/ Telecommunications)
   2. Mainframe: Cobol, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Endevor, OPC
   3. Domain: Commercial/ Retail Banking, Ledgering, Payment
   4. Processes: SDLC phases, Business requirement liaising, hands-on experience on Design, development, batch manual testing, deployment and implementation.
   5. Hand on experience of large Mainframe Development projects.
   6. Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
   7. Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
   8. Ability to manage time effectively / multitask
