Job Description
Job Title:
Ruby on Rails Engineer/ Senior Engineer/ Technical Lead
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the team developing next generation of EMR technologies
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Design and implement Ruby on Rails applications to automate internal business processes.
- Translate complex Billing, Accounting, CRM & other enterprise processes into easy-to-use solutions
- Develop background tasks/workers to automate business workflows.
- Integrate with third-party tools with via APIs.
- Work throughout the full stack, from database through Rails to jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS
Required Skillset:
- 3 10 years of progressive IT experience with a minimum of 2+ years in building Ruby on Rails Web applications and RESTful API endpoints
- Proficient with scripting languages, specifically Python and Bash
- Experience in Object Oriented Java Script.
- Must have Linux command line experience.
- Good experience in developing and integrating reliable REST web services.
- Good experience in Front-end development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, preferrable Vue or React)
- Good knowledge on relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Knowledge of any Document/object-based databases (Redis or MongoDB)
- Should have exposure to cloud Resources (AWS, Azure, inc.)
- Should have experience in version control systems such as GIT and Bit bucket.
- Possess good communication, organizational and creative thinking skills.
- Multi-tasking individual that likes to work both in a team environment and individually.
- Excellent technical abilities, leadership, decision making, and adaptability to new technology
- Good knowledge of Agile processes and practice
- Team player
- BCA/MCA, B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent
