Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer Management Consulting - Mumbai
Data Engineer which will be responsible for supporting the data ingestion and integration needs at the company. The data engineer must provide technical expertise on architecture, design, and integration of multiple datasets into our ever evolving, large scale data environment. Emphasis of this position will be in developing and deploying a robust data processing pipeline
Seeking a Cloud Data Engineer with 6+ years of IT expertise having minimum of 4 years of driven data engineering experience analyzing and wrangling big datasets in AWS and Azure cloud-based environment and other bigdata ecosystems
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining analytics pipeline
Contributes design, configuration, deployment, and documentation for components that manage data ingestion, data extraction, and loading of data into a variety of databases on AWS and Microsoft Azure
Identifies gaps and improves the existing platform to improve quality, robustness, maintainability, and speed
Makes recommendations for adoption to extend our platform to meet advanced analytics use cases, such as data reporting touch points, and data extraction
Performs development, QA Key Skills: Mandatory:
4-6 years of experience in a Data Engineering role
Experience building, maintaining, and improving Data Processing Pipeline / Data routing in large scale environments
Experience in ETL development, data transformation, and integration of data streams
Experience with data flow monitoring and audit tools
Experience working with variety of databases and expert using Mongo DB and SQL
Experience data storage performance analysis and enhancements such as data replication, distribution, monitoring.
Creativity to go beyond current tools to deliver the best solution to the problem
NOTES:
Node.js -
Person to configure what other solution to extract data from a variety of data resources. Load the data into a data lake (Mongo dB). Understand the tools for these services to make the best recommendations. Should have experience with using the tool.
Data Transformation extract data from Data Lake to customized schema that is required.
Once data is loaded into the data warehouse/lake, responsibilities ends, and passes to analytics team.
Extract and deliver a feed to our customers.
Configuration role of existing tools.
Strong experience with large dataset platforms such as
Experience in producing and consuming topics to/from
Automated Data QA experience
Experience with acquiring data from varied sources such as: API, ETL, remote databases
