Safety Manager @ Sri Balajee

Job Description

Provide direct oversight to the EHS site teams and work with site leaders to develop and train EHS personnel
Develop a coordinated country level team to align & harmonize the safety culture by reviewing site performance on periodic basis
Drive leading indicators reporting across site to build strong reporting culture across organization
Drive site risk assessments and oversee the implementation of mitigation measures
Monitor & track the corporate EHS and site internal EHS audit process ensuring that all audits are completed and properly documented
Develop Training calendar for the year & drive it for implementation across sites.
Develop & implement Permit to work (PTW) system, train relevant personnel & drive implementation across the organization
Analyze EHS data trends and advise leadership on the appropriate recommendations to prevent new or recurring accidents
Effectively lead incident investigations, ensure proper classification, and drive the implementation of corrective actions
Develop and implement work processes to address evolving safety programs focused on prevention of Injuries
Resolve complex compliance matters using the required data, metrics, resources, and management systems
Create a Monthly Safety Report that communicates safety performance metrics and safety program messaging & communicate to leadership team
Review environment parameters & ETP performance at sites to ensure compliance to local CFO/PCB requirements
Develop Process safety critical equipment for each site with site leader/EHS officer & review their management (functionality, calibration, maintenance, reports etc.)
Visit sites to evaluate the effectiveness of EHS management systems & develop action plan along with site leader for site improvement
