Job Description
- Perform the day-to-day activities of a branch unit in terms of the operations and customer service functions / supervise a sub unit within a large branch office in accordance with department and company procedures and regulatory requirements, and in doing so ensuring that the standard terms of service are met. Functions of handling a singular branch unit include attending to branch walk in customers and to investor calls via telephone. Additional functions include conducting initial processing of investor applications received at the branch and follow up with the back office for completion, and report generation. Functions of handling a sub unit within a large branch office include overseeing the day-to-day activities of the customer service associates/front office activities of the branch.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior TA Client Representative
- Perform branch operations functions such as receiving investor applications, time stamping, NIGO checking and inputting details of investor applications at the branch, sending relevant documents to the back office for processing, generating required reports within the prescribed timelines and dispatch of cheques and account statements to investors / distributors.
- Provide prompt and accurate information to customers about FT products and schemes, load structures and documentation procedures. Demonstrate highest levels of quality service in attending to customers, as well as effectively handling any grievances/complaints that may arise
- Attend to branch walk in customers and to investor calls via telephone. Coordinate with the branch operations team to follow up customer queries
- Ensure that branch functions are carried out on behalf of customers in accordance with department and company procedures and regulatory requirements, and in doing so ensuring that the standard terms of service are met
- Handle difficult investors and complaints to ensure service standards are met under all circumstances
- Generate proper MIS on the activities of the branches, so that the management team is informed of both the achievements and the requirements.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful
- Graduate, preferably in the commerce/ accounting / finance background, proficient in English and numerate.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a customer service role
- Knowledge of the Indian mutual funds industry and regulations involved therein
- Should possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Model good work habits and appropriate use of procedures and controls
- Problem solving and analytical skills
Preferred:
- Experience in customer services in a supervisory / managerial capacity from the financial services industry.
