Job Description
Technical Qualifications: -
Implementation, configuration, management and/or troubleshooting of the following technologies:
Windows Server 2008-16
Remote Desktop Services (Multi-Server Farm w/ Secure Gateway)
Active Directory and Group Policy
SSL Certificates
Cisco ASA and SonicWall firewalls
Basic router and switch configurations (VLAN / Redundant WAN)
MSP tools
Roles & Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
- Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, via remote connection or over the internet to help set up systems or resolve issues;
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
- Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
- Replacing parts as required;
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
- Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
- Working continuously on a task until completion;
- Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time;
- Testing and evaluating new technology.
