Job Title : Scientific writing Lead
Job Description:
1. Develop medical assets to support advisory boards by KOL/HCPs and engaging with Medical advisors on a peer-to-peer level.
2. Creation of slide decks and PowerPoint kits for CMEs and other scientific meetings, such as HCP congresses, ad board meetings, MSL education material, Patient support programs etc.
3. Perform literature search on any given topic on different databases like PubMed and Embase and perform analysis of the retrieved data.
4. Good knowledge of various therapy areas (TAs) such as cardiology, endocrinology, oncology etc.
5. Responsible to develop content from scratch for different scientific communication deliverables such as slide kits (PowerPoints), newsletters, literature summaries, brochures, clinical trial summaries etc. while meeting quality and time-line requirements as per client satisfaction metrics.
6. Should be well versed with MS-word and MS PowerPoint and have basic knowledge with regards to MS Excel
7. Should be able to coordinate with different internal stake holders like writers/creative team /project managers and ensure the content is delivered, meeting client-requirements in quality and time-lines
8. Should be able to follow the best practices in the department regarding - processes, communication (internal & external), project management, documentation and technical requirements like - language, grammar, stylization, content search, summarizing, data conflicts and referencing
9. Participate in assigned training programs and work on assignments as per requirement
10. Compliance to quality, confidentiality and security.
11. Developing & reviewing the scientific content for promotional literature and medico-marketing solutions such as promotional emails, patient/physician brochures, newsletters, product/drug monographs, digital & print channels, visual aids, websites, social medial channels etc
12. Developing innovative scientific content for physicians, pharmacists and patients on medicinal products, diagnostic devices, disease management guidelines, by leveraging their in-depth understanding of medical/scientific content.
