As manager of Infrastructure & Cloud Operations, you will lead the Infrastructure team for Cloud, Data Center and DevOps / Automation. As part of the overall Cloud Infrastructure Platform Practice, the Practice Manager will be responsible for developing & managing a high performance team, dedicated to building strategic value-add customer relationships, providing best in class services and ensuring customer satisfaction. To achieve this, the Practice Manager would develop the AWS/Oracle Public cloud, Private Cloud delivery teams, foster alignment with internal stakeholders and drive operational excellence, whilst supporting best-in-class customer engagement and enabling the expansion of the Cloud customer base.

Motivate and develop an assigned team of highly skilled Consulting professionals around AWS & Oracle cloud Platform (IaaS) stack to drive high performance, individual and career growth
Manage and negotiate escalations for internal issues and between Cloud customers/partners to achieve positive outcome and influence policy
Be a hands-on leader with high levels of energy, passion, creativity and enthusiasm
Define measure & assess group goals and the IaaS teams performance against specified target objectives
Drive and executive productivity initiatives reducing the total cost to operate
Direct and ensure the implementation of operational policies within team
Establish strong, lasting and collaborative relationships with the Sales Field organization and other LOBs to ensure the success & growth of the team
Build strong customer & partner relationships to ensure high service delivery
Own the Cloud Platform (IaaS) Practices budget, including Revenue, Utilization, Head count & Profitability
Work closely with Cloud Sales & Domain Leads to prepare new IaaS offerings, enable sales & be at the forefront of knowledge on AWS/Oracles IaaS product stack as well as understanding of competitor offerings
Accountability for operational metrics and overall business results of IaaS team
Typically manages multiple senior & junior level individual contributors
What should you possess?
More than 14+ years of IT experience
Respectable experience in Information Technology Infrastructure environment
Reputable experience with multiple cloud technologies like AWS, Oracle Cloud and Azure
Able to work with AWS/Oracle Cloud support teams to review product issues and resolve customer problems
Senior-level Customer facing skills to represent AWS & Oracle IaaS with the customer and drive discussions regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation
Experience on IaaS implementation and road map planning
Prior experience in implementation of hybrid cloud virtual data center utilizing both public and private clouds
Experience with the ITIL operations framework
Experience in orchestration, automation and optimization of servers, storage, virtualization, high-availability, backup and disaster recovery
Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting, experience with emerging technologies such as Containers/Docker and Micro-Services a plus
Experience in establishing and effectively managing a delivery team
Able to work with customers and convince customers of the benefits of moving to the cloud, including familiarity with architecture blueprinting & roadmap definition
Able to articulate solutions with respect to business requirements of the customer
Able to network and develop strong business relationships with License Sales Reps and End customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs
Able to build & foster strong internal relationships with multiple cross-LoB channels
