Role 1: Application Migration Engineer
Location: Pune Exp.: 1 to 5 Years

Position Title: Application Migration Engineer (Associate Software Engineer) Location Pune
We are looking for 1-2 years of experienced, talented and passionate software engineer helping us migrate our current data product to modern and new age productKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data Implement and configure the changes in the new platform, test and verify
Analyse current implementation to extract required information from Oracle DB Manual and automated adjustments to new systems if required Remove unwanted and irrelevant items from the list of migration to make migration smooth and standardized.
Create basic configurations on Java and Kafka based platforms Data comparison between old and new implementation and provide areas of enhancements.
Manually/Automate management of clients code mapping across plat formwork closely with account directors, program managers Monitor and support new implementation by analysing Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana Dashboards Reverse engineering of current PL/SQL modules,
Manage complex SQL queries

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONPrior experience of migrating Data projects - Database migration, ETL migration of application migration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent skills on PL/SQL and good exposure to Java scripting language
knowledge of AWS, Java Basic, API, data streaming platform
One or more years of Data Analyst experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in business analysis, computer science
Ability to work with customers, product owners. Managers in understanding configurations, requirements and convey the same to the engineering team
Experience with Jira, Confluence
Accuracy and attention to detail
Adept at queries and writing reports
