Education

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology/Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related business analysis/development field or equivalent; MBA/master s degree a plus
• Minimum of 4+ years industry experience in product development or service-oriented companies

Work Description/Role Summary: (Brief 4-5 line description of the role )

• Design, develop and maintain software systems infrastructure including Catastrophe modelling software and related tools using C# .NET, ADO.NET, SQL SERVER, WINFORMS, Multithreading on .NET framework.
• Understand high level business requirements and produce technical specifications, designs and develop software components according to the specifications
• Work with US based development team to build and improve overall product quality.
• Understand high level business requirements and produce technical specifications, designs and develop software components according to the specifications
• Follow software development best practices with respect to documentation and configuration management

• This role will understand the requirements of client and develop new features in the product
• This critical role will also identify, diagnose, and solve technical challenges to achieve innovation through incubation projects for future graduation into production operations
• Collaborate with RD teams to understand the catastrophe modeling needs and current trends
• Produce Quality Architecture and Design documents.
• Develop critical features in Aon s Analytics products
• Provide field support to Analyst/client to resolve issues.
• Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with stakeholders and clients.

Skills Knowledge Requirements:

• Good knowledge in Software development technologies i.e. C# .NET, ADO.NET, SQL SERVER, WINFORMS, Multithreading, WCF, WPF, Distributed processing, and Agile development delivery approaches (Scrum, Agile Framework).
• Good server-side programming expertise
• Good knowledge in Software Development Process, Software Architecture and design concepts
• Good logical, analytical and reasoning capability
• Applies knowledge and experience to client work relevant to the type of client and/or problems.
• Contributes to the Requirements understanding, effort estimate and design process for the client.
• Experience working with colleagues spread across multiple offices with excellent skills in conflict resolution and decision making.
