Designation- Business Head West/ North

Qualification- MBA
CTC- upto 1 CR
Strategy:
- Understand the organizations business plans and strategy and derive implications for potential business development in the geography in consultation with State Heads
- Identify opportunities for business growth by leveraging knowledge of consumer behavior in consultation with State Heads, Key Account Manager, market research agencies and regulatory authorities
- Guide State Heads in developing annual marketing and sales plans for the geography and achieving growth and expansion targets in line with the overall organization strategy
- Evaluate possibilities for partnerships and collaborations in line with organization strategies; review progress and ensure returns
- Monitor the competitive landscape and industry players and strive to build and develop best in class practices for the organization
- Develop budget for sales and guide team in allocating the same for various activities
- Monitor adherence to the budgets; identify deviations and take appropriate action where necessary
- Undertake cost-benefit analysis incorporating future business potential and determine financial viability of new business endeavors and prospects
- Plan for and ensure optimal manpower costs within the team
Sales Operations:
- Develop annual business plan and detailed customer centric marketing plans in co-ordination with the state heads, customer centricity and key accounts teams; Actively monitor progress on the same
- Drive the growth in revenue and market share of business across geographies through existing and new customers in close coordination with customer centricity team
- Drive growth in revenue through new products and key initiatives envisaged across locations
- Negotiate and execute wide range of business agreements in line with the organization and location specific strategy
- Guide state heads in development of region wise and category wise (Trade and Non-Trade) sales target based on market forecasts and ensure adherence to targets through regular monitoring
- Work with ED Revenue Management for product specific sales schemes and discounts to maximize revenue and increase sales
- Monitor collections from leads across regions and ensure adherence to debtors control target
- Participate in and perform all stages of the process leading to deal closure, including customer pitches, conceptualization, proposal development, issue identification, risk allocation, valuation, negotiation and document preparation
- Ensure collaboration with Plant Heads and Product Design for new product development
- Liaise with technical teams to co-develop products for specific geographies customized for local needs and requirements
- Liaise with the customers on a periodic basis to resolve customer issues and escalations in the geography
- Ensure planning for site visits/ meetings on a periodic basis to maximize business opportunities
- Work closely with teams across geographies to share knowledge, best practices and collaborate across pitches on a periodic basis
- Work closely with sales teams to generate insights on customer needs, priorities and issues
- Maintain a healthy and long-lasting relationship with the respective customers across locations based on excellent customer service and technical prowess with the support of sales teams
- Ensure and support preparation of the sales forecast / order pipeline estimates across locations and ensure it is shared with respective stakeholders for seamless operations
- Work closely with Key account managers to continuously obtain consumer insights for emerging customer needs and trends to identify growth opportunities in terms of new products
- Monitor competition/industry trends, create strong market intelligence network and develop SWOT analysis for the organization and present new / alternative business scenarios to ED revenue management
- Liaise with finance to ensure sales numbers are accurately depicted and accounted for
- Analyse competitive/ comparative pricing strategy and best practices in terms of product composition, packaging, and positioning vis--vis organizations products
- Formulate a customer management philosophy and implement CRM systems across the geography customer base along with the state heads
Channel Partner Management
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key distributors / agents across locations driving their ROI through organizations schemes
- Ensure effective collections and monitor credit levels for a distributor ensuring adherence to internal sales processes
- Establish alliances, tie-ups with financially strong and reliable distributors and dealers, resulting in deeper market penetration & reach
- Communicate with distributors to improve and develop business relationships, in-addition to maintaining constant follow-up on their feedback
- Visit Group market organizers /dealers/sub-dealers, competitors dealers and end users (contractors, small builders, etc) as per Journey Cycle Plan
- Improve network health by having desired number of dealers for rotating the targets as well as having proper number of dealers in each slab to have right healthy mix of network, as targeted for the area
- Organize local meets like Consumer Guidance Camps with Masons, Contractors, Dealers, Sub dealers, Market Organizers etc. as per the agreed plan for the month / quarter / year
