Job Description

Mining engineers plan and supervise the processes involved with extracting minerals from mines. They are often heavily involved in developing new mines, including assessing whether a mineral deposit can be profitably mined, and also research new techniques and processes to improve the efficiency and safety of mines.
Responsibilities:
Design open-pit and underground mines.
Supervise the construction of mine shafts and tunnels.
Devise methods for transporting minerals to processing plants.
Prepare technical reports for miners, engineers, and managers.
Mining engineers Require Qualification-
Diploma,B.tech,M.tech.Engineering,ITI
Salary-17,000/- to 48,000/-
Age-18 Years
Work Department-Drilling operations director,Site manager, Mine Engineer,Geologist,Health, safety and environmental professionals
Work Industry-minerals, metals, oil and gas are extracted safely and efficiently.
Skills-A good mining engineer always has strong problem-solving abilities, good organizational skills and strong grip over subjects like science and mathematics.
