Summary of the main responsibilities are as follows:

Write robust embedded firmware for medical devices

Create test-bed firmware to validate sub-system PCBs

Prototype with new microcontroller platforms, sensors / actuators for future products

Roles and Responsibilities

• Proficiency with STM32 family of microcontrollers and Cube HAL
• Experience in developing device drivers using GPIO, UART, I2C and SPI
• Experience in developing USB-CDC and USB-HID devices
• Hands on experience using ROTS (FreeRTOS)
• Proficiency with C++ and familiarity with object-oriented paradigms in firmware design

Desired Candidate Profile

• Hardware debugging skills (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
• Hands on experience with low power BLE interfacing
• Knowledge of Cypress PSoC family
• Knowledge of bootloader development
• Experience with FAT-FS storage
• SDLC knowledge and awareness of IEC-62304 standard
• Knowledge of MISRA-C/C++ compliance
• Work experience of 2 years or more
