Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Position for: - BMS Technician
Location - Oman
Roles & Responsibilities: -
- BMS Technician is a key role reporting directly to the BMS Project / Service Engineer and Sr. Operation Manger with following roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for carry out service, maintenance and retrofit projects on Building Management Systems (BMS) used across multiple industries including commercial, retail and hospitality
- Responsible for the onsite system verification, Operation, planned preventive maintenance activities, testing & commissioning of fit out projects.
- Responsible for creating monthly/Quarterly PPM reports, PPM schedules and ensure all the PPMs have been completed as per schedule and contract terms
- Candidate Should have knowledge of latest BMS products, HVAC control philosophy, Instrumentation and electronics which will use for BMS site implementation and maintenance
- As a member of BMS Project/Service team, BMS Technician must adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner
- BMS Technician should work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform to develop technical and project management skills.
Qualifications & Desired Candidate Profile: -
- 3 Years Diploma in Electrical /Electronic engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 Years' Experience with installation, Commissioning & Servicing of Various Brands of BMS system.
- Candidate Should have experience in supervision of installation of containment, Cabling, BMS Sensors/Valves, DDC Panels for BMS system.
- Ability to manage a group of labors for BMS installation/termination works
- Candidate Should have ability to read and understanding MEP drawings, blueprints, diagrams, submittals and specifications used in installation activities
- Should have knowledge on basic MS office tools like word, Visio, Excel.
- An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal, problem solving & client servicing skills.
- Preferred, Experience on Johnson Controls BMS System
