Job Description
SUMMARY The SAP Globalization Services team localizes SAP products for use in different countries. The team has locations across the world, including Brazil, China, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, and Russia. We are seeking a user assistance developer (technical writer) to join our software development unit in Bangalore. As a member of the Globalization Services UA team, you will have the opportunity to learn and explore a range of product lines spanning SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, Success Factors and many more. The position is on a full-time, permanent employment basis. ROLE As a member of the user assistance team, you are responsible for the UA content of your scrum teams. This would include: Researching and defining terminology Editing user interface texts to ensure usability and that the texts conform to SAPs standards Planning, researching, and writing the documentation (such as context-sensitive help, user guides) required by SAPs customers. You will also be required to create product videos, and at times blog about a specific feature. Interactions with SAPs customers, and partners on UA projects, where relevant Be the UX Advocate for your scrum teams ROLE REQUIREMENTS UA developer (technical writer) with at least 3-6 years of technical writing experience. Excellent written and spoken English skills Confident with UA tools such as Ixiasoft DITA CMS and SAP systems documentation, and DDLC.
