Job Description - Be part of analytics department of an Indian private sector bank and make use of the latest Machine Learning, Data Science, and Analytics techniques to solve exciting new age problems in fintech, banking, and digital sectors.
Client Details
- Indian private sector bank with national presence. Employees over 20,000 people and holds assets worth $22bn.
- The analytics team is crucial in delivering the long-term vision of the bank.
- The team will work closely with all business units (product, sales), functional stakeholders (e.g. credit, operations, Journey Excellence), technology teams (IT team and vendors) and external partners (e.g. DSAs, agencies) to deliver impact on key business metrics through data and analytics.
Description
- Play a critical role in designing, developing and implementation of analytical solutions
- Perform data analytics and keen to learn/explore new techniques
- Perform exploratory analysis using structured/unstructured data
- Oversee and build statistical models/scorecards within specified time-lines
- Co-ordinate with various internal teams IT, Credit, Product, Business etc
- Co-ordinate & work with external partners
- Bureau, data aggregators/agencies and other analytics vendors on projects basis
- Bring fresh ideas to the table and keen observers of trends on analytics and financial services industry
- Work on variety of projects of different nature Credit Risk, Business, Product, Data Management etc
Profile
Ideal candidate would have
- 1-4 years of banking or finance experience
- Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science etc
- Knowledge of Python/R/SAS
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Expertise in developing/building predictive models (regression, decision tree, etc.)
- Previous experience of working on large data-sets involving millions of rows and evaluating different scorecards, conducted variable reduction, etc
