Role :Practice Lead - Lead Architect - Cloud Computing
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Total 10-14 years of experience in IT Industry which includes at least
- 3-5 years of experience as Cloud Application Architect
- 1-2 years of Consulting experience Application Assessment for migration to Cloud
- 2-3 year of Software Development/Design/Testing experience for Cloud Applications
- Manage 1-2 large Cloud Migration programs
- Working with US/Europe clientele and Telecom, Healthcare or Retail industries is an advantage
Strategic Responsibilities
- Jointly with Practice Head, develops Alten Calsoft Labs (ACL) Cloud Computing competency roadmap
- Develops Frameworks, Accelerators, Re-usable components which help to expedite Cloud adoption and implementation within Alten Calsoft Labs (ACL) clients business
- Be a thought leader and strategic advisor to Alten Calsoft Labs clients to drive adoption of Cloud
- Evangelize Cloud computing solutions and their benefits to sales leaders/executives, client CXOs and create strong pipeline/funnel
- Actively participates in key Industry events to understand the trends and promote Alten Calsoft Labs solutions
- Present Alten Calsoft Labs solutions to Analysts, Partners and ensure due recognition and mind share
- Write white papers, blogs and creates brand awareness of ACL solutions in the market place
Tactical Responsibilities
- Articulate pros and cons of different Cloud platforms and help clients choose the right one
- Develop Cloud implementation roadmaps and involve in Proof Of Concept/Pilot exercise
- Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed Cloud architectures.
- Create Work Breakup Schedule (Effort Estimation for client projects
- Lead Design, development andmigration and support Cloud applications on platforms like MS Azure, AWS and Google
- Benchmark systems, analyze system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them
- Planning system, storage and network requirements for the cloud applications
- Implement and publish APIs/Web services to consume platform services in a consistent way.
- Actively participates in Proposal Response preparation (for RFP, RFI),Solution Presentation to clients and hand holding to Delivery
- Architect and implement DevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps(VSTS), Ansible, Jenkins, Chef
Skills
- Hands on experience in defining, designing and developing distributed and scalable applications and services, on one or more Cloud Platforms like MS Azure AWS and Google
Experience in implementing / migrating applications to Cloud using Agile Development Methodology
In depth knowledge of Cloud Applications, Infrastructure and Security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability and Availability
Frameworks such as React/Angular.js REST / Web Services (with high performance, multi-tenancy, global, scalable elements) SQL, XML, JSON, Linux, GIT, Ant/Maven, Jenkins
Strong expertise in Automation and Configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, CloudFormation & ARM templates Strong understanding of container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, AKS etc.
Good awareness of DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and tools like Azure DevOps(VSTS), Jira Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
