- Looking to hire a highly driven engineering leader with at-least 10 years of experience in a Product setup. You will be working developing and operating our software products, showcasing your creativity, and using the latest technologies to bring ideas to life. Prior experience in working on Order Management Systems is a must with exposure to Java, Spring Boot and React.
Client Details
Our client is Multinational Retail Giant with strong plans of expanding online operations globally. They are currently looking to hire a Director Engineering (Front-end) to be a part of the global tech hub based out of Gurgaon.
Description :
Reporting to the CTO, your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving tech architecture, tech design, and keeping track of the complete development process
- Bringing strong technology leadership to drive high-quality work in the areas of product development
- Define the software modules needed for an integration build
- Grow, educate, hire, and retain a high-performing team with high delivery cadence in an agile environment
- Working closely with the product management and other stakeholders to understand the critical issues customers are facing and use technology to resolve the same
Profile :
- MTech with 10+ years of Software Engineering experience in a product organization
- Experience working in ecommerce domain is a plus
- Track record of building and leading software engineering teams
- Required knowledge in Java 8 or higher and Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with microservices (design and development)
- Experience with designing and implementing REST APIs Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, AngularJS or Vue) is a plus
- Experience with synchronous and asynchronous communication paradigms
- Experience with continuous integration (toolset) and cloud platforms (preferred)
- Eager to look for perfection in your and team's code development through software development best practices, Continuous Integration/Delivery, Test Automation and Everything as Code
- Motivation to never stop learning in the digital IT space
- Experience in working with Order Management solutions like IBM Sterling is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English.
- College or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent.
