Requirement:
Ed- B.E or B. Tech or Diploma in Mech Engg., Electrical Engg.
Exp- minimum 20 Years in RM & SMS
Key Skills-
Hot rolling mill long product TMT rebar and strip mill knowledge
20TON Induction Furnace process knowledge.
Mill stting, change, Roll Pass design and guides knowledge
6 by 11 continuous casting machine process knowledge.
Sound knowledge in rolling process,and quality related issues.
AOD process knowledge.
Delay analysis -RCA, production, rolling plan,melting plan
Knowledge of stands,furnace,cooling bed,flying shears,rotary shear,pich rolls etc.
Production Reports generation daily, weekly, monthly.
Preventive and predictive maintenance of production dept.
Knowledge about various grades of scrap, various grades of steel.
Sound knowledge in melting process, and quality related issues.
Knowledge of shredder production and type of scrap to be fed.
Close control capability over consumption of consumables, spares.
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Description-
Responsible for achieving monthly and annual production targets.
Knowledge of mill equiments interlocks like-furnace, blowers, mill stands, HMD-S, SCANNERS, Encoders,pumps, compressors, flying shear, rotary shear, pinch rolls, hydraulic, pneumatics, lubrication system ETC.
Responsible for all activities of Melting in induction Furnace for all steel grades.
Good knowledge of slit rolling,slitting guides,twister guides, H-V stands.
Familiar with megatherm, electrotherm, and inductotherm INDUCTION furnaces.
Troubleshooting and route cause analysis of cobbles,
Responsible for smooth operation of CCM
Good knowledge of the SCADA and trends to analyse operation issues.
Good knowledge of Pouring of liquid metal.
Spares and equipment management related to production.
Continuous monitoring of quality of scrap by coordinating with scrap graders and scrap suppliers.
Good coordination with inter dept like Quality,Maintenance,Electrical,Dispatch and Marketing,SMS,Store and finance.
Should know the Charging calculation for various grades of steel.
Sound knowledge of Rolls hop, CNC, Notching, Branding etc.
Should be able to Prepare documents related to the processes.
Coordination with Purchase dept for procurement of the spares,consumables equipment.
Should be able to to maintain quality of all steel grades.
Planning and implementing preventive & breakdown maintenance schedules of machinery improving overall reliability of equipment & system to control down time.
Should be familiar with Microstructure examination.
Reviewing and evaluating technical offers, technical discussions,clarifications, negotiations and finalization of technical issues.
Coordination with Purchase dept for procurement of the spares,consumables equipment.
Should have Clear concepts for production optimization, yield improvement.
Focusing on optimization of process parameters and initiating process improvements for achieving cost reduction and productivity targets.
Team oriented and should build a good working environment in plant. Stop unsafe practice in the plant.
Good English communication
Reviewing the technical specifications with respect to quality assurance of raw materials.
Ensure planning & supervision of maintenance activities and proper utilization of available resources during planned downtime.
Excellent in process documentation for continual improvement ,Technology advancement.
Monitoring of operational efficiency & effectiveness.
Planning and implementing preventive & breakdown maintenance schedules of machinery improving overall reliability of equipment & system to control down time.
Reviewing and evaluating technical offers, technical discussions,clarifications, negotiations and finalization of technical issues.
