Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategically develop solutions to satisfy SOC compliance standards by working directly with product teams and personnel.
- Review internal controls, policies, and procedures for effectiveness and compliance.
- Oversee the SOC2 / SOC 2 control matrixes and drive process creation and refinement as needed.
- Liaise directly with external auditors in compliance and consulting arrangements.
- Identify and recommend revisions and improvements to practices and procedures applicable to internal controls.
- Ensure communication is clear and concise to project managers, consultants, the support team, and customers.
- Refine processes and documentation when necessary, to drive efficiency or in response to new product releases or other stimulus.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree in accounting or computer science required.
- 3 years SOC 2 regulatory experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- CISA, CPA, CIA accreditation would be an advantage.
- Experience in SSAE-16 SOC 1 & 2 work is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Service Organization Control compliance and internal control design addressing entity level processes to granular information systems.
- Mastery of the Microsoft Suite, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Industry knowledge or experience with practice management software preferred.
- Outstanding problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Project management experience involving multiple people and processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including process documentation - with a keen sense of customer service.
