Job Description
Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites for validating different Coherency flows at system level. Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec. Interfaces with SoC Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content and design for validation capabilities. Understands System with HW/FW/SW components as a whole, drives test execution and debug with cross functional teams. The position will support various levels of experience with following qualifications.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's in Hardware Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 7- 12 years of experience In Depth understanding of the SoC multi-threaded/multi-core Cache Coherency sub system for x86/PowerPC/ARM with hands-on work experience of 5+ years in this domain Expert knowledge on the coherent protocols in complex SoCs with integrated IPs like PCIe, ethernet - should have worked on at least 2 products in this domain Good understanding of the Instruction set architecture (x86/ARM/PowerPC) and Linux/Windows OS concepts Knowledge of pre-si coverage stimulus and debug will be value add Should have developed Random/focused test content to cover all corner cases in simulation/emulation/platform Good expertise in C/C++/Python to develop sw features for better validation coverage Established debug expertise to solve complex failures through usage of silicon debug hooks, Logic analyzers, Oscilloscope etc Working to enable quick silicon power-on checkout, run Task Forces where ever needed Work very closely with design/pre-silicon/PAE/perf teams will be part of the job Ability to propose work-arounds for silicon bugs working closely with silicon design team Chairing the sighting debug forum in past will be a value add Pre-silicon Design / Validation knowledge is a plus. Excellent written and oral communications and experience working in a cross functional and cross site team environment are essential.Inside this Business Group
