We are hiring SAP ABAP developer who will be responsible for the Enterprise wide IT Application support and development activities. The person is expected to primarily provide technical support with regards to incident/ticket resolutions, ensuring that organization wide SLA's are adhered to in the process along with contributing to projects / initiatives for Varian. The role requires hands on expertise with regards to working with SAP ABAP on HANA.
Job Responsibilties:Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
.Partner closely with business groups and Varian EAS (Enterprise Application) team to keep the enterprise applications in the SAP modules running.
.Work closely with the business to fulfill defined business goals. Provide expertise in the area of custom developments on SAP and other web platforms.
.Work hands-on experience with current technologies and able to learn future technologies on job and capable to provide recommendations as needed to meet corporate IT objectives.
.Work closely with business and IT to provide application support and continuous improvements for the applications that are already in production and used extensively for day to day operations.
.Primary focus will be on following platforms: SAP ABAP, SAP SD, SAP FI-CO, SAP PM, SAP PS, SAP QM, SAP HANA.
.Develops test plans and protocols for evaluation of system performance. .Conducts analysis of systems specifications and uses the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. . . Develops conversion, interfaces and system implementation plans. . .Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
.Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Coordinates system upgrade activity.
Job Requirement:
Qualifications Required: BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science
Experience (Years): 4-6 years
Technologies required: SAP ABAP (Reports Interfaces, enhancements, Data Dictionary, SAP Hana Workbench Tools, Adobe forms) and Workflows
Skills:
- Must have successfully participated in at least 1 full life cycle end-to-end business transformation projects on SAP ECC platform or been a part of at least 2 different SAP ECC application support (AMS) engagements in a previous role.
- Must have hands on development experience in SAP ABAP (Reports Interfaces, enhancements, Data Dictionary, ABAP/4 Workbench Tools, Adobe forms), and Workflows
- Should be able to debug, troubleshoot, and analyze issues occurring in a production support environment.
- Experience on SAP HANA live, SAP FIORI, Web Technologies and HANA studio is good to have and will be given weightage in the candidate selection process.
- Good Knowledge in Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation of ECC.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Extremely goal-oriented, innovative and quick learner, adapts easily to new situations/challenges.
