The Research Analyst will be responsible for assisting its Manager of Marketing Research and Analytics in meeting day to day research requirements. Analysts in this role get to: Keep Sutherland grounded: Research, analyze, and present information on single companies and/or groups of companies or whole market or industry segments in a form that is easily digestible by others in the company Set the path to success: Aggregate the company's own internal operations data to create marketing materials and information for the sales and operations Keep management updated: Report on the company's own operational and business development data for use in quarterly and annual reviews Qualifications: Our most successful candidates will have:
Bachelor degree in Business (or related field)
Ability to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules, meetings, and initiatives
Ability to work, problem solve, and learn new tasks independently with little direction or oversight
High level of proficiency with Microsoft office products
Familiarity with ferreting out difficult to find information from a wide variety of industry sources, including analyst firms, industry trade organizations, and government or regulatory bodies
Strong understanding of basic business principles
Strong verbal and written communication skills be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
Ability to work occasional long hours, and perform effectively in a very demanding environment
