Job Description

. Thoroughly conversant with selection of rotating machinery viz. Compressors, turbines, pumps, blowers and fans . Function as Area Engineer for assigned projects in the engineering of rotating machinery Ensure quality and timelines for deliverables . Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimise areas of interface during the design development . Support/ implement departmental quality management programs . Provide technical guidance to task force members Interface engineering for rotating equipment with all other disciplines . Bring-in improvement in the engineering systems and alternatives through value engineering Commissioning of rotary equipment systems Trouble-shoot and resolve site problems . Familiar with API Standards for respective machinery and also familiar with material standards and specifications as well as the requirements of ASME and HIS Shared Cross-functionally . Experience in preparation of mechanical data sheets and specifications for rotating equipment mentioned above. . Experienced in vendor offer evaluation, preparation of TBA and review vendor drawings / calculations. . Experience in engineering of Petrochemical / Oil & Gas projects. . Exposure to commissioning and field trouble shooting of Rotating machinery.
