- Primary focus will be providing planning support at Pursuit-to-win (PtW) in preparing and amending bid schedules for Rail projects.
- Manage a reliable and responsive planning service for the Project. Manages the preparation of schedules for all phases of a project across multiple disciplines.
- Develop, maintain, and analyse integrated CPM schedules for major programs and a portfolio of projects at Deliver-to-Result (DtR) stage.
- Develop and prepare any specific reporting requirement of Project Managers, Earned Value Reports.
- Responsible for ensuring that schedule updates from the various area schedulers does carried out, and that these inputs are cross checked and consistent with one another to support the overall Program.
- Ensures that all quality checks are carried out on the Schedule before submitting it externally to the Client.
- To analyse project requirements and manage the preparation of a Project Master Schedule which integrates strategies and constraints for all project phases.
- To monitor progress against schedules, analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions.
- To manage the preparation of and make presentations to project teams and client on schedule control and procedures used.
- Extract and analyse specific information from schedules using CPM, filters, lookaheads, histograms, S-curves ect.
- Closely monitor all aspects of schedule for live projects and advise project team (s) of progress and trends.
- Willingness to learn and adapt new tools and system/processes.
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, preference will be given for Master's in Construction Management
- 10+ years related experience in Planning, Scheduling & Project Controls
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects preferably in Rail /Highways domain
- Experience in project controls, scheduling, cost engineering and cost control pertaining to engineering and construction activities will be an added advantage.
- Based on project requirements, should be available to support PM's during UK time zone.
- Understanding of bid/tender planning is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is mandatory.
