Accountabilities:
The People Technology Partner team will consist of 3 People Technology Partners aligned to different functional COEs within the overall Global People Function. Each People Technology Partner will have alignment to at least one centre of excellence/ workstream area and will lead a project team in being the solution architect by establishing and evolving the best practice business process designs for the relevant COE processes and the implementation of supporting digital solutions.
COE/ Workstream areas that the People Technology Partners will align with and projects within those areas include:
  • People Services- Projects will include Digital Assistant, HR Helpdesk, Policy Automation, Journeys, Knowledge Management & HR Portal
  • Talent Acquisition, Development & Succession- Career site & relationship Management, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, Background checks, Learning Management System, Mentoring, Succession Planning
  • Performance & Reward- total reward (including benefits), Reward review, Grow Perform Succeed (the Arcadis Performance Management approach)

Arcadis has identified the following key focus areas for the role:
  • Work with the Global People Technology Manager to partner with the COE leads to understand the vision and key priorities for the functional area
  • Take the lead as the solution architect to design of harmonized business processes for the function with a view to creating consistent global ways of working, optimizing and automating workflows, in order to improve efficiencies and enhance end user experience.
  • Develop functional requirements in partnership with the COE for technology to support the global processes for the function.
  • Responsible for maintaining the global template of functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, ensuring it is up to date and reflects the latest business processes changes
  • Assist in preparation of business case documentation to propose introduction and investment in new technology
  • Participate in vendor selection focusing on best in breed solutions and assessing available Oracle technology against other vendors and make recommendations on the most appropriate application based on cost benefit analysis.
  • Work with the Project Manager team to plan out project implementation plans
  • Work in partnership with the HRIS team to develop functional designs and collect configuration requirements from regional stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate system demonstration deep dives/discovery, functional design and validation events.
  • Plan and manage solution test events ensuring that end to end processes are tested and any issues are identified, and fixes/ workarounds developed.
  • Lead on the development of end user guidance and documentation to support the correct application of business processes
  • Work with the Change and Training Lead to develop appropriate communications and training materials
  • Deliver training events in partnership with HRIS
  • Lead the COE community to ensure the technology is constantly being reviewed and new enhancements identified and planned for roll out
  • Work with the global people technology partner and Global process owners to prioritize and plan for the continuous improvement of the relevant solutions
  • Act as a liaison and a bridge between our Technical Oracle team and COE Functions.
  • Provide innovative ideas and solutions in a dynamic environment
  • Problem solve with our implementation partners, HRIS and Global People Technology Manager
  • Work with the People Analytics Manager to ensure digital solutions align with our global data model and allow for insights to be collected.

General
  • Role Model the Arcadis Way principles.
  • Act as a visible steward of health and safety and ensuring familiarity and compliance with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Working hours: This role will require the flexibility in working hours to lead and attend meetings with global stakeholders.
  • Travel: This role will may require travel internationally to meet with key stakeholders, and attend meetings and workshop.

Key shared accountabilitie
  • Implement the overall HR Technology strategy and roadmap for the COE Function(s) that the role is partnered with
  • Lead in the defining Global business processes so that there is maximum use of shared services
  • Ensure a seamless, suitable and digital employee experience across key moments that matter pertaining to the people services components of the employee lifecycle.
Qualifications
Profile requirements
The candidate should have an academic degree in human resources management and a minimum of 8 years experience in HR and also high exposure to implementation and managing people-based system and solutions that align to a business transformation across geographical entities. They will ideally have international experience and understand the complexity of leading people projects across boarders.
Further the candidate should have thorough knowledge of project business and driving change and transformation (including strong stakeholder management skills and influencing remote teams).
Other required experience and competencies for this role:
  • Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating the HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business with digital based solutions
  • Implementation of HR technology to support data driven insights.
  • Has experience within an international Consulting Firm (complex professional services or related business, and providing high quality business improvements service will be critical)
  • Understands trends and requirements in the Human Capital domain: Recruitment & Onboarding, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Mobility, HR administration and Payroll
  • Excellent knowledge of HRIS system and Human Resource policies and procedures. Preferably in Oracle
  • Demonstrable experience of end to end project management
  • High level communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including senior executives able to comfortably speak to business managers and establish a communication cadence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ability to combine attention to detail with big picture perspective
  • Have broad experience and knowledge across all major components of People related functions, talent acquisition, compensation, talent development
  • Stakeholder management and the maturity to deal with senior leaders.
