To be familiar with all the Environmental Acts and Rule, regulations published by MoEF, CPCB, TNPCB.
To monitor & review Effluent Treatment plant operations so as to ensure that the discharge effluent meets the Standards.
To have knowledge & experience in handling of Zero Liquid Discharge Effluent treatment plant with Reverse Osmosis and multiple Effect Evaporator.
Should be capable of handling Sewage Treatment.
Should have experience in handling Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste in line with TNPCB/CPCB requirements.
Should have capability to file applications and obtain Environmental clearances such as EIA, Consents for new projects, Consent renewals and Hazardous waste authorisations.
Should have good correspondence & communication skills to interact and maintain good relationships with TNPCB/CPCB/MoEF &CC officials
Should be conversant with Risk analysis and dispersion model simulations for Toxic gas releases/Fire using appropriate software
Should implement Process Safety Management and be capable of conducting Process Safety Audits, Hazop studies, HAZAN Analysis.
Should have experience in Ambient Air, Stack Air, Work place & noise monitoring.
Should be familiar with advanced technologies adopted in online analysers for Air monitoring, Effluent monitoring and online connectivity to TNPCB.
Should be familiar with the latest Air pollution control equipments used to reduce pollution.
Should be Capable of investigating incidents, Cause Analysis and effective implementation of corrective actions.
Should have familiarity in complying to Sustainability frame work requirements with experience in handling software like Enablon.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for 'SUSTAINABILITY' topics like Legal, Water, Energy & Carbon, Grievances & Whistle blowing etc to be identified and motivate the employees to comply to the standards and maintain the Sustainability Dash Boards.
Should impart Training to the employees on Legal requirements and Sustainability.
Should implement Procedures & compliances in line with ISO 9001-QMS, ISO 14001-EMS & ISO 45001-OHSMS Standards.
People Development Implement HR Policies in the department level for development of Human Resources to build skilled and motivated employees
Promotion of Environment & Sustainability Culture across the organisation, Implementation of creative and Innovative Safety, Health & Environment practices
Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech,MBA Minimum Experience Level: 3-5 Years Report to: Officer
