Finance is playing a central role in keeping the bank focused on simplification and financial resource management.

Our key functions range from Group Finance, Treasury, Planning and Performance Management, and Investor Relations to enabling functions such as Finance Change and Administration. These teams make sure we cover all Finance specific aspects for our internal and external stakeholders such as shareholder, employees, clients and regulators. Together, it is the role of Finance to oversee all financial details for Deutsche Bank globally.

Associate role is the key enabler to help credit officer's manage credit risk for the bank. The job will focus on offering services through a wide spectrum of activities like mapping counterparties, managing excess tickets, performing data administration activities, reconcile credit limits across various businesses, Sourcing NAV's from public and private source and MI reporting

Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Understanding about Risk management activities (beneficial).
  • Interpret material changes in data, following a rules based approach and communicate to end users
  • Implement improvements in operational processes
  • KPI reporting on key operational activities
  • Provide innovative solutions to problems to minimize Credit Risk within the bank
  • Interpretation / understanding of data / information to formulate recommendations within agreed procedures
  • Ensure adherence to internal policy
  • Compilation of historical market data time series
  • Ad-hoc data analysis
  • Ability to process and analyse diverse transactional behaviour and display sound judgment during escalations.
  • Attention to detail to work with pricing information.
  • Ability to multi-task on assignments/projects in addition to managing daily responsibilities.
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of CIB clients and products
  • Good understanding of SAP BO and other report writing tools
  • Familiar with Credit Risk reports and ability to work independently work with credit officers to prepare and submit

Education/ Qualifications/Skills
  • Graduate and above in any stream with 7+ years of relevant work experience in an operational/analytical environment
  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment vehicles.

Skills:
  • Very Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
  • Data management and problem solving skills.
  • Project Management (beneficial).
  • Team management (beneficial)
