SUMMARY
We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist with practical experience solving business problems for an exciting opportunity to work on an AI enabled product with cutting edge technologies.Your primary responsibility will be to explore massive amounts of structured and unstructured data and create appropriate ML and NLP based solutions focused on meeting specific business needs and goals, and assist a team of data scientists and software engineers in such efforts.

Domain: Pharmacovigilance
Technologies including machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence (AI).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors or Master&rsquos degree in Computer Science or related field


• Prior experience building scalable machine learning algorithms to solve business use case

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS

• 5+ Years of experience in Data Science (Python preferred)


• Demonstrated experience completing at least 1 full project cycle of a product


• Experience with Exploratory Analysis for large datasets


• Strong experience using Machine Learning with classification, regression & clustering algorithms such as Random Forest, Support Vector Machines, Neural Networks


• NLP, Text Analysis, Data Mining experience


• Strong analytical capability in Mathematics/Statistics and applied fields


• Able to lead end to end implementation of software solutions to meet business goals


• Understanding of Agile methodology


• Strong experience with Linux required


• Familiarity with version control (e.g. Git)


• Ability to understand and get involved in complex problem solving with stakeholders


• Mentor junior technical staff members and contribute to a culture of excellence

• Data Engineering and Software Architecture experience is a plus


• Understanding of model deployment and software architecture is a plus


• Understanding of SQL, noSQL is a plus

• Interest in Pharma Industry domain
