Our Investments - Regulatory Reporting team at Deutsche Bank - Private Bank (TDI) develops and maintains applications for Transaction Reporting (MiFID) and Position Reporting. Regulatory Reporting changes are generally announced on short notice. Quality and stability has priority together with time to market.
By working in an Agile DevOps model, acting as a pilot for Investments and actively improving the model, we achieve very high quality while continuously delivering value to our clients. Located in Germany and India, we work closely together using agile and virtual collaboration techniques and our team's diversity to reach our goals of continuous deployment, process improvement and internalizing engineering know how.
As a Product Owner you will closely work together with business and operation units as well as the development teams and bring business analysis and communication skills into the development team. You will extensively make use and apply agile tools and practices in the context of Deutsche Bank's digitalization journey.
Your Key responsibilities
- You are key stakeholder in the agile team, responsible for defining and prioritizing the development of the product in collaboration with all stakeholders (e.g. business units, operations, development team)
- You primary focus on building and owning a product structure of epics, features and stories, adjusting features and priorities dynamically based on user feedback and realignment of business demands
- You are responsible for accepting or rejecting features delivered by development teams during sprint cycles, keep customers or users informed of status, demonstrating functionality to users and gathering feedback
- You are supporting project manager and subject matter experts for successful User Acceptance Testing and product adoption by business
- You contribute to team standards, engineering best practices and quality standards and help ensuring that the team meets them
Your skills and Experiences
- Pro-active team player with experience in working in an Agile environment as Product Owner or Scrum Master
- Excellent verbal and writtenEnglish and strong communicationskills with ability to tailor communication to various stakeholders. German language skills would be a plus.
- Hands-on experience in structured business analysis methods and tools including Jira, Confluence and HP ALM.
- Expertise in drawing business process workflows, requirements backlog preparation and strong ability to break down large complex processes into small tangible product output for incremental business value delivery
- Ability to think strategically and anticipate user needs on a long term basis in order to build a continuous vision for the product
- Experience in problem solving as well as experience and knowledge of investment business and its operations
- Degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent.
