Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Security is looking for a Design Manager with the unique ability to align cross-disciplinary teams to help shape the future of a variety of IBM Security properties. This position is for a hands-on manager who can drive multiple projects within a small but resourceful design team. You will work closely with Design leadership, Product managers, and Engineering managers to define strategies, craft Hills, and lead the design across multiple user experiences. As part of the larger Security Design team, will also work with our global UX teams to ensure consistency across the Security portfolio.

10+ years of overall experience.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, rapidly growing environment
Sharp, clean visual design sense
Solid analytical thinker
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
9+ years experience creating large scale enterprise application interfaces or large scale websites
Successful track record leading interdisciplinary teams
Creative and strategic thinker, able to develop innovative solutions to problems and leading-edge design
Hands-on expertise in use case development, storyboarding, mock-ups and highly interactive prototypes
A strong understanding of front-end technologies
Open to feedback and knows how and when to defend design choices
Expert on Design Thinking Hills, Sponsor Users, Playbacks.
Can run an end-to-end client workshop driving towards user outcomes
