Sr. Analyst, Data Capabilities Design
Sr. Analyst, Data Capabilities Design
. Conduct analysis and research to enable the design and development of data-based products and solutions for open banking while identifying data related requirements.
. Effectively use tools to manipulate large-scale databases, synthesizing data insights. Provide 1st level insights/conclusions/assessments and present findings via Excel and PowerPoint. Support development of presentation decks.
. Assist with the design documentation for new data capabilities and infrastructure relating to accessing and using new data assets from Finicity and other open banking assets, including new data pipes, data transfers and compliance related infrastructure.
. Understand the Finicity and related Open Banking team's business strategy, information infrastructure and data needs for both new and existing products and services across various product initiatives within the respective business unit.
. Conduct analysis and contribute towards requirements that support data-related process, policy, governance and infrastructure requirements resulting from new and evolving product constructs and how those governance requirements can be automated.
. Assist in working to automate frameworks and compliance processes for the business unit's collection use, sharing and disclosure of data taking into consideration the data, operational, reputational and partnership-related requirements for the business.
. Support the core and cross functional team with architectural data and technology alignment related to Master Data Management principles and Data Standards.
. Document existing gaps or opportunities within open banking technical initiatives and provide support of remediation.
All About You
. Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building and partnering. Must work well in both team and individual settings and must be able to work with a geographically dispersed team
. Experience in data management, data mining, data analytics, data reporting, data product development and quantitative analysis
. 3+ years of hands-on experience with any of the following technologies: SQL, Python, Hadoop,Tableau, PowerBI, Cloud Systems (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, etc.)
. Strong business analytic capabilities, and written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail is a must
. Motivated self-starter with ability to excel at multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
. Experience in the Financial or Payment Industry is a plus
. B.E. in a technical or quantitative discipline with experience in Data practices or Masters in Computer Application with experience in Data practices
