MT Technology is seeking a Front office risk senior developer to work on Risk and PNL enhancements to Simpliciti and other strategic Risk management platforms. Responsibilities include front office analytical enhancements and changes to these systems.
The primary responsibility is to design and develop the risk management application infrastructure. This involves complex technical challenges, and a good understanding of the risk generation functionality in order to integrate new models from the Quant Library
Key Responsibilities
- Each developer is involved in the complete project lifecycle from requirements analysis and to design and implementation
- Requirements analysis
- Design, Development, Testing of new features.
- Continual improvement of the software development lifecycle and quality of the product
- 3rd line support of the production system (dedicated 24h support teams handle 1st / 2nd line)
Job Skills/Qualifications:
- Required: Strong foundation in core Java, language and appetite to learn and implement advanced and latest extensions
- Desired: Knowledge in designing and developing distributed systems using a range of middleware and database products. Typically this means knowledge of technical challenges in systems supporting a large number of concurrent users or transactions
- Desired: Knowledge of FX or Rates or FI
- Experience: 8+ Years
Skills:
- Java, OO design
- Distributed Systems Technologies - Messaging, Caching, Database.
- Understanding of computing science fundamentals - concurrency, algorithms, and operating systems
- Mathematical aptitude and ambition to learn mathematics for financial derivatives
- Process and tools to produce well written low defect rate code. Collaborative development
