Database Developer @ Genxhire

Job Description

Be able to take a leadership role in design/architecture of the entire ecosystem of Database platforms over the cloud.
Sound Knowledge of AWS with MySQL.
Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for improved performance in SQL operations and implementations.
Oversee the operations of the production and staging environments databases, ensuring process align with release processes.
Design, implement and monitor disaster recovery plans as it pertains to the production database environment.
Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate and correct data and database issues.
Give design recommendations for database functions that meet business operating standards while improving the efficiency of business processes.
Migration of PostgreSQL to MySQL or similar is a plus.
