Job Description

Position: Service Desk/ Technical Support Specialist [Voice] (2 to 3 Yrs exp)
Company: ExterNetworks
Work days: Monday to Friday
Working time: Rotational
Positions: Multiple.
Address: Madhapur, Hyderabad

Required Skills:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Technical Degree and/or equivalent experience and training preferred
  • Any Graduate [BSc. B.Com]
  • Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources
  • Ability to assess and prioritize alerts and respond or escalate accordingly
  • Must be willing to work in shift operations in a 24/7/365 rotational work environment
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills and attention to detail

Technical Skills Required:
  • MCSE, CCNA or any other technology exposure is mandatory
  • Exposure to IT Troubleshooting processes for Laptops, Desktops, MAC, Windows Applications
  • Exposure to service management tools for tracking tickets [ServiceNow, ManageEngine, SalesForce, Jira etc]
  • Exposure to ITIL best practices and processes

Special Requirements:
  • Taking ownership of customer requests
  • Ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • An innovative attitude, stress-resistant, team player, flexible
  • Independent worker, logical thinker

Job Description:
  • Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
  • Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
  • Update customer data and produce activity reports
  • Walk customers through problem solving process
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Utilise excellent customer service skills and exceed customers expectations
  • Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure
  • Recommended procedure modifications or improvements
  • Preserve and grow your knowledge of Help Desk and Service Desk procedures, products and services
