BI-LEAD
Job description :
. Analyzing requirements, designing and developing analytical projects to meet business needs
. Architect, design, develop and deliver BI/Reporting applications using MicroStrategy, Tableau, Teradata and Oracle.
. Development of dashboards and reports using MicroStrategy and Tableau.
. Participate in technology governance group that defines policies, best practices and make design decisions in on-going projects.
. Closely work with DBAs to fix performance bottlenecks.
. Work closely with MicroStrategy, Teradata administration teams for code migrations and production support.
. Supporting business users on answering complex business questions via Tableau and ad-hoc SQL queries.
. Troubleshoot issues as they occur, identify criticality and impact, and provide appropriate workarounds.
Mentoring junior developers regarding best practices and technology stack used to build the application.
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)
. 8-10 years of experience in IT with business intelligence applications.
. 8 -10 years of experience as MicroStrategy or Tableau developer.
. Advanced data visualization and SQL skills.
. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
. Experience working directly with business users to build reports, dashboards and solving business questions with data.
. Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills.
. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and lead team .
