The mission of the Cloud Engineering team is to build solutions, services and tools that secure and simplify Intuit's migration into AWS, and ensuring operational excellence, cost effectiveness, reliability and scalability along the way. The software you build will be leveraged across the Intuit enterprise and will pave the way to Intuit's transition to become a worldwide SaaS provider.

What you'll bring

• 2+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of software fundamentals and strong in programming disciplines like data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• Experience in at least one of Java/Python/Go, with a deep understanding of Web technologies and databases.
• AWS, Google Cloud or Azure experience is a good to have.
• The ability to take abstract problems and derive multiple, implementable solutions using AWS services.
• Experience in developing / implementing infrastructure automation, micro services and Orchestration frameworks application /development will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with any logging or tracing system will be ideal.
• Actively stay abreast of technology skills in Cloud, recommend best practices and share learnings with team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

How you will lead

• Successful delivery of high quality web software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
• Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding
• Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
• Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
• Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
• Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
• Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
• Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
