Job Description
He / she will be a member of the Carbody Design Team, which will work for Regional/Metro/High speed trains along with our OEM customer.
Responsibilities
. Support the Carbody Design team leader in preparing Concepts and developing them.
. Create the 3D models of Carbody according to standard Methodologies while maintaining structural integrity.
. Define the weld plans for the specific assemblies and align Weld Engineer and Manufacturing Team.
. Producing Mechanical Domain deliverables (EBOM, Supplier drawings, Welding drawings, PDM articles and Drawings in etc.)
. Coordinate with Other Mechanical Engineering Integration Team in designing and Implementing the interfaces.
. Make sure that any mechanical design constraints of each solution are followed.
Educational requirements
Master's /Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge & Experience
. Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 5-6 years of experience. Automotive/Aerospace/Heavy Engineering experience can also be considered, if found relevant & suitable to the current job.
. Good Communications and interpersonal skills with internal and External parties (customer).
. Time management and reporting skill.
. Sense of urgency / priority.
. Customer & Product Focus.
. Structured and organised with Hands-on approach.
