This position is responsible for Implementation and managing of business applications on a centralized/de-centralized platform so as to enable the Hindalco HKD FRP unit to achieve optimization in cycle time, manpower productivity and other KPIs and improve visibility across the supply chain leading to cost saving and better employee & customer satisfaction.
This position is responsible for -
. Get requirements from user, Design and build quality solutions for improvement in business process of HKD FRP
. Techno-Functional Support to existing IT system and modules running at HKD FRP
. Help in building digital interface wherever required.
. Provide proper training to the users as per their requirement on various newly developed and existing applications
. Ensure smooth commissioning of new operation of existing applications
Skill Set required
Job Brief
Qualification : B-Tech / BCA / MCA with 3-5 years hands on experience in managing applications (preferably in Oracle)
Actively monitors and analyzes user requests, evaluates and applies solutions.
Technical Skill :
1. Thorough knowledge (Techno functional ) in Oracle ERP (AP,GL,PO,INV,EAM,FA modules)
2. Adequate training and knowledge on Design , Development and commissioning of Business Applications .
3. Adequate knowledge in latest technology stack and application toolkit and languages. Special preference will be given to knowledge in Oracle
Troubleshoots any Application issues and resolves in a courteous manner in person or via email, telephone and/or other electronic medium in time. Also become proactive in managing and maintaining existing Application and tuning the same to make the system fullproof and so that incidents for troubleshooting gets reduced
Proven experience as application developer
Understand clients applications requirements
Experience in designing and building applications
For new requirements, interact with business users , understands the business needs and use cases. Identify key application features to meet that needed.
Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Java (J2EE) , Python , Oracle PL SQL etc. Preference will be given to knowlegde on Oracel Forms and Report builder.
Work with other IT professionals to set specifications for new applications as required. Design creative prototypes based on specifications. Write quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines following the rule / practice of the organization. Perform unit and integration testing before launch. Identify deficiencies and offer solutions.
In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
Troubleshoot applications
Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
Find bugs and offer timely solutions
Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code
Develop User Manual for the developed application and publish
Communication Skill: Communicates effectively and appropriately. Speaks and writes in a clear and credible manner. Uses good judgment as to what to communicate to whom as well as the best way to get that accomplished. Actively listens to others.
Maintains Application inventory and assist in acquisition, deployment, support, and retiring of IT Application based on Business Environment and associated requirement changes
Ability to present and explain information: Must be able to professionally communicate with vendors, other departments, and customers via e-mail or phone about technical and non-technical hardware and software.
Consults IT knowledgebase(s), Internet, other team members (Corporate IT / Group IT / Own or Other Hindalco Unit IT) and any other appropriate resources for the purpose of independent troubleshooting.
Problem-solving skill: Ability to quickly identify Application bugs and eliminate the same systematically keeping business interest intact.
Corresponds with vendors / Corporate IT / Group IT on resolving issues or ensuring delivery and commissioning of Third Party Solutions as applicable
Knowledge of Systems Integration: Candidate must have knowledge of interfacing with digital solutions.
