Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Software development experience in Python or another scripting language (e.g., Perl).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in developing, supporting and debugging Front End tools and CAD flows.
- Experience and understanding EDA design tools. (e.g., VCS, Verdi, Spyglass, Coretools/Magillem, Cadence Xcelium)
- Experience developing and supporting RTL build and compilation flows, RTL connectivity flows, and design handoff/release flows.
- Excellent scripting skills in Perl and/or Python, Makefile, Shell. Basic understanding of Verilog or System-Verilog RTL
- Exposed to Front End design automation/CAD flows like RTL lint, clock domain crossing, IP Release flow
- Exposed to design verification technologies. (e.g., simulation, coverage collection, test planning, compile debug)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy design release and RTL qualification flows, tools and features.
- Support and improve execution of the tools and flows currently used in the RTL design process.
- Design, develop and supportdesign methodologies, automation scripts, and write documentation.
- Be able to quickly ramp up on an existing Front End methodology and support multiple projects.
