Job Description


Key responsibilities
Purpose/Summary:
The Transformation manager supports the business across L&S/SCM space. He is responsible for leading the business implementation of both local and global transformations. This includes working closely with key owners and stakeholders of processes and products to successfully implement new ways of working, design (wherever we can contribute) and realize benefits / value add outcomes to business.
Key Responsibilities:
.Run/Drive and Lead Transformation Projects which can include strategic local/global projects, platform and technology driven projects, standardization, and process & governance improvement projects
.Work with GSC, CSO, FPO, PPO, BPO and other local/global stakeholders in ensuring project deliverables are delivered with quality, within agreed timelines and criteria
.Leads project planning sessions along with key partners to define project essentials
.Ensures projects meet deadlines and benefits are signed-off, delivered/realized by business
.Ensures sustainability and hand-over plans are established, documented, communicated effectively with relevant stakeholders
.Analyzes opportunities and gaps to achieve maximum benefits as per plan
.Captures risks and project roadblocks proactively by designing and executing risk mitigation plan
.Conducts project reviews, huddles in all required levels and creating detailed agendas, to assure accountability, follow-thru on project deliverables
.Optimizing and improving process and current transformations and over-all approach where necessary
.Perform virtual gembas to ascertain the quality data capture and deep diving focused areas
.Summarizes and communicates the progress of projects at a regular fashion with key stakeholders
.Communicate effectively with multiple teams COEs, FPO/BPO and other stakeholders as per requirements in initiative
.Be a guiding force in following-thru digitization solutions to zero-in on manual intervention and ascertaining long term resolutions are addressing customer/process issues
.Contribute to the design of the solutions wherever required
.Develop sound and detailed understanding of the systems
.Effectively manage change through right engagement, governance, strong communication and feedback mechanism to address and hyper care teams in times of transition.
.Setup checking mechanism on key operations elements and monitor exceptions to reduce
.Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations adherence to company procedures and policies.
.Supports company commitment to ISO 9001, 14001, OSHAS 18001 certification
.Performs other position related duties as specified by managementWe are looking for
Position Specifications:
Education and Experience
.Engineering Graduate with 10+yrs of total experience
.Relevant of 3-5 years of SCM or similar industry experience.
.Solid SCM/Logistics operations background
.Experience in running global transformations (related to technology is an advantage)
.Flair for and interest in processes and systems
.Solid project management background (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified & Agile Practitioner are an advantage)
Technical Skills and Competencies Required
.An individual with strong technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus including an understanding of systems.
.Analytical skills
.Able to understand technology, systems and convey messages of technical and non-technical nature of topics
.Knowledge of logistics market
.Solid Change management experience
.Focus on delivering work in high quality
.Ability to work independently with little supervision and capable of multi-tasking
.Can work under pressure and comfortable in dealing with senior stakeholders
.Good commercial awareness
