We have immediate opening forAWS SysOps Engineer@ Mumbai

Exp : 3+ Years

Job Location : Seepz,Andheri

 

Skills Required :

  • AWS SysOps certification preferred
  • SLA driven application & production environment up-keeping in 24x7 rotational shift.
  • Thorough knowledge on all the Windows Server & Linux operating platforms, Webservers Apache, Nginx & IIS, AWS services (ALB, Beanstalk, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, WAF, Cloudfront, S3,etc)
  • Experience in handling, monitoring, performing backup/restore/test disaster recovery for AWS RDS - Posgres, MSSQL & MYSQL platforms
  • Maintain & troubleshoot end to end deployments, perform troubleshooting as per standard operating procedure and prepare RCA for outages.
  • Powershell, bash scripting, monitoring & performing maintenance on build servers
  • Remote troubleshooting & helpdesk ticketing workflow
  • Experience with Datacenter NOC (Network Operations Center), SOC (Security Operations center) Security audits, ISO controls, Infrastructure security monitoring and patch management.
  • Handling incident management, problem management, change management as per operating guidelines.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, backups and disaster recovery.
  • Monitoring metrics for outages (alarm handling & escalations), triaging incidents with respective teams and RCA preparation.
  • Perform inventory & cloud billing checks, preventative scheduled maintenance, perform upgrades, security patching & audit checks.
  • Hands on experience with security & monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, AWS services (Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Inspector,WAF), Site24x7, Solarwinds, Datadog, PRTG, etc
  • Preparing sandbox/test environments for performing staging environment checks.
  • Excellent soft skills for client interaction, report & RCA preparation and articulating recommendations
  • Identification and prevention of any potential outages & making recommendations for overall service improvement

 

Please note below points for SysOps, 

 

1. We are looking for AWS Certified candidates for SysOps role. If a candidate has 3+ years of experience in AWS but no certification, then can still consider provided AWS experience is upto mark.

 

2. Candidates should be willing to work in rotation shift. (24*5 ) (If candidate is working on weekends then 2 days off will be given on weekdays)

 

3. Must have experience in CI/CD Pipeline and should be aware of APM Application Performance Management (Datadog, Dynatrace etc)
