Job Description - Opportunity to lead the equity investments of the group in Financial Services companies
Client Details :
Our client is a large financial services group with several portfolio companies in the financial services domain
Description :
- Lead the equity investments of the entire group in portfolio companies
- Analyse and evaluate potential investment opportunities as well as the overall investment strategy
- Lead due diligence, direct transaction team and coordinate transaction execution and closing - Work closely with the management of the portfolio companies post-investment and drive value creation for all the stakeholders - Play a crucial role in the overall Strategy at the group level - Create an investment deal flow pipeline - Develop a complete understanding of an emerging company by evaluating its market opportunity, competition, product, sales and growth, operations, financial statements and projections, management strength, equity needs, and capital structure - Closely Validate the Investment opportunity while working on the case, structure and terms for potential investments
Profile :
- 5-8 years of experience in deal evaluation, diligence as well as execution - From a PE/VC Background or a large group setup that invests in Portfolio companies - MBA from a Tier 1 College in India (IIM A/B/C/ISB) or IVY league is a must for the role. Tier 1 BTech/BS is an added advantage - Exceptional presentation skills - Detail Oriented, Technical and Metric-Driven Approach - Strategic Thinker
