Job Description
Technical Analyst ( B.tech / M.Tech Electronics & Communication Candidates only )Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Understanding of patents and patenting process.
2. Should be able to understand and identify novelty and inventive steps of the invention.
3. Should be well versed with fundamentals and concepts of the technology segments such as electronics,
communication, software, information technology, semiconductor technology.
4. Should be well verse with patent searching on various database and official databases like USPTO,
IPO, WIPO, EPO, JPO etc.
5. Should be well versed with prosecution methods/ amendment strategies, drafting practices and prosecuting
patent applications, preparing response to FER (should have hands on experiences on working on prosecution
case).
6. Should be proficient in drafting claims, Indian patent office practices, sections, rules and concepts, vital to
prosecuting an application.
Desired Skills Required:
1. Strong analytical skills with basic understanding of diverse technology domains.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication.
3. Excellent comprehension skills and ability to learn quickly.
4. Responsible attitude and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
5. Well-developed interpersonal and active listening skills.
6. Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) fundamentals and/or Patent laws will be a plus.
