Job Description:
Job Purpose:To plan and organize activities with regard to man, machine, materials and methods so as to achieve targeted production and consistent quality for better productivity and revenue generation of the assigned shift through better teamwork and safety.
Challenges:
The main challenge of the job is to achieve targeted production with quality at minimum cost and to keep the department clean by maintaining 5-S and healthy through stringent adherence to safety practices.

Planning
To plan for material movement in types of machinery to get maximum utilization and productivity with quality.

To engage hands as per sanction
To manage the department in case of hand shortage
To ensure that SOPs are strictly followed
To control waste generation in the process
To monitor process parameters and quality of final products
To hand over the department to in coming shift in good condition

Operation
Ensure optimum utilization of the machine.
To ensure perfect health of the machine.
Ensure total quality production
Establish and monitoring of well-defined quality parameters.
Ensure reduction of waste generation
To follow process norms, machine settings, cleanliness of machines
People & Organization
Multiskilling
Training of workmen at different functions / machines from department level
Discipline
Build & motivate people to maintain discipline in the department
Safety
Identify unsafe act and unsafe conditions to reduce no. of accidents
Qualifications:
Bachelor Of Technology,Bachelor Of Textiles
Minimum Experience Level:
1-3 Years
