Job Description: We are looking for a senior product manager who will help build networking and security solutions for the multi-cloud world that includes all VMware Cloud offerings (VMC on AWS, VMC on Dell-EMC etc). As a senior member of the team, you will lead multiple initiatives from concept to launch in a unique and groundbreaking area that has a direct impact on the customer experience as well as the business bottom line. This is a high visibility, high impact role with abundant opportunities for growth and innovation. Responsibilities: . Engage with customers, internal stakeholders, and executive leadership to understand business needs and challenges . Understand the networking and security market trends and leverage this knowledge to produce a leading product and solution offering. . Collaborate with other product teams in VMware in building differentiating and unique solutions. . Identify a variety of customer needs and use this information to define user personas, user stories, use cases, and product requirements for product features and solutions. . Participate in the product feature planning process ensure that the product features meet the requirements of customers and the marketplace. . Prioritize product features in a complex technical and business context . Work closely with VMware customers, developers, and key VMware stakeholders including Engineering, Support/Services, Product Management, and Sales. . Deliver presentations to Sales, Sales Engineering and Customers on the features and benefits of those features at events such as VMworld, Tech Summit, Partner Exchange and other online seminars. Desired Qualifications: . BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry technical skills. A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is highly desired. . At least 5 years of work experience in product management, product marketing, and sales engineering and field roles. . Understanding of VMware SDDC stack and NSX technology is a plus . Proven analytical skills and strategic thinking . Strong understanding of the Cloud Networking and Security technologies such as VPC, vNET, Direct Connect, VPN, ALB, ELB, NAT, Transit Gateway, Security groups etc. . Understanding of the needs, and common deployments in the hybrid/multi cloud world is highly desirable . Experience building SaaS products in an Agile product development process. . Ability to define metrics to collect and analyze for the improvement of the SaaS service . Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to present to large audiences (e.g. VMworld) . Previous experience interacting with and presenting to customers and prospects at different levels - Technical, Business and Executive. . Ability to quickly understand technologies, algorithms, and architecture, and articulate them into customer-facing benefits and value props. . Ability to work in a matrix organization. .
