Primary Responsibilities:
- Performing Data analysis, developing SAS programs and using the healthcare data
- Design and develop applications and application components in an agile environment
- Create high-quality programs by conducting peer design / code reviews and developing automated test cases
- Supporting & modifying the existing ETL process for clients. Analyzing their data, checking for any discrepancies in data against Standard rules, investigating, fixing issues which involves analytical ability and SAS skills Design, create, build, and maintain data pipelines
- Unix Scripting for SAS Grid Development and Setup. Perform testing of SAS and Unix code components
- Performing code Reviews and code migration. Cross validation of SAS jobs after code migration
- 80% of this position is SAS Programming
- Working on the Impact assessment requests for probable changes in the system. Working on Development, Break Fixes, Hot Fixes, Enhancements & Defects in SAS
- Aggregate & Transform raw data coming from a variety of data sources to fulfill the functional & non-functional business needs
- Performance optimization: Automating processes, optimizing data delivery & re-designing the complete architecture to improve performance
- Lead calls and work on end to end delivery of the project independently
- Contribute in project estimations and work closely with Solution Architect
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (BTECH(CS/IT) /MCA)
- 3+ years of SAS programming experience
- Experience with SAS tools: SAS EG, SAS GRID
- Experience with relational SQL
- Experience with complex SQL statements and familiarity with relational databases
- Designing and Developing Quires as per the business requirement
- Analyzing, interpreting, and enhancing existing reports per business need
- Great numerical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques
- Strong written/verbal communication skill
- Familiarity with processing large data sets
- Ability to build and optimize data sets
- Ability to build processes that support data transformation, workload management, data structures Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects at any given time
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to design solutions independently based on high-level architecture
- Ability to work within a strong team structure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leveraging ServiceNow for Incident Ticket management
- Experience in understanding and speaking to transformational architectures
- Experience with Big Data tools: Hadoop, Spark, etc.
- ETL Data warehousing knowledge, CI CD/Devops using Jenkins, Agile working knowledge
