Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Create, edit, and update content on our website, blogs, social media and, YouTube channel.
- Understanding the relationship between creating content and return on investment, i.e., using published content to generate leads and raise brand recognition. (through content and motion)
- Create content that can help attract an audience and generate leads, impact customer buying decisions by boosting traffic on our website, and utilizing SEO methods.
- Make the content more appealing by using self-clicked photos and videos. Source images shot either at launches, dealerships or create custom images.
- Expected to write an average of 3000 words worth of engaging lead-generating articles daily.
- Create new expert reviews, featured articles, and comparisons.
- Developing an in-depth understanding of current automotive industry trends, development, and customer sentiments through conducting research and interviews.
- Based on web traffic metrics, review the performance of published content and present it to management.
KEY COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Must have experience in the automotive domain and a genuine passion for cars.
- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Writing in Hindi will be considered as an added advantage.
- Able to craft unique stories in the automotive domain.
- Must have a versatile, pragmatic writing style to engage customers by influencing their purchasing decisions with relevant, meaningful content.
- Should have experience in WordPress postings.
- Must have a complete understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, keyword research tools, and software that help find trending topics like BuzzSumo, Uber Suggest, Keyword Planner, Google Trends, etc.
- Should know how to use email marketing tools like MailChimp, Hubspot, Sendinblue, etc.
- Must have experience in handling car launches, live events, and Auto Expo.
- Must have intermediate to advanced level knowledge in photography and videography.
- Knowledge of video editing and podcast publishing is a plus.
- Must have an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while maintaining focus on details, execution, and results.
- Capable of quickly and consistently producing high-quality work on tight timeframes
- Should have strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Must be open-minded, practical, and agile.
- A degree in Mass Media/Journalism/Automobile Engineering will be more desirable
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an automotive journalist, including automotive content writing, photography, and videography.
