Job brief:
The Company is looking for a Python genius to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products.
Python Developer responsibilities include writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.
Ultimately, you will build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs.
Position: Lead Python Developer
Experience: 5-8yrs
Location: Andheri (east), Mumbai
Notice Period: Not more than 15-20 days.
Joining Date: As soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Write and implement software solutions that integrate with different systems
- Identify and suggest ways of improving efficiency and functionality
- Come up with reusable code that is efficient and easily testable
- Participate in the development of software connected to core business
- Development of middleware ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end and development of a complex & secure data aggregation system
- Diagnose bugs and other issues in products
- Write and implement Low-Latency Applications
- Implement security and data protection
- Design and build scalable REST APIs
- Develop, test, tune for performance and deploy web services
- Work with product team to build innovative, robust, and easy-to-use features
- Collaborate with the team, optimize and refactor the back-end architecture
- Assess and prioritize feature requests
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
Requirements
- At least 4+ years experience in Python
- Django 2+ years experience
- Mongo dB experience
- Proven experience in software development lifecycle
- Acquaintance with Python web stacks
- Acquaintance with version control systems
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Experience of working on Object Relational Mapper libraries.
- Good understanding of Restful web services and micro-service architectures.
- Should be familiar with version control with GIT, Bit bucket, SVN or similar
- Good to have knowledge of Postgres/MySQL/Oracle database.
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
