Job Description
Work Location: Bangalore, India
Total Experience: 10 to 14 years of relevant experience.
Working Hours: Rotational Shifts
Certification requirement: Professional and above level knowledge in Cisco, Juniper or equivalent technologies. Palo Alto, F5 and cloud certifications are also preferred
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems as per operations processes, affecting the network infrastructure
- Participate in Internal projects and External project/technology transition and Implementation.
- Identify and resolve chronic issues.
- Help team to Create RCA whether you have been involved directly or indirectly
- Day to day operation and maintenance of the Delivery and Corporate sites network.
- Creation of network documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation.
- Take active participate in auditing conducting internally and externally ( firewall rule review, traffic block between restricted networks, diagram update)
- Maintain and Update network documents ( Diagrams, IP schema, Data flow doc, Create SOPs, CMB record)
- Supervising responsibilities including interviewing and training/coaching team members
Technical Requirements:
- Good hands-on experience on CISCO (Router, Switch and Firewall), Palo Alto, F5, and Juniper (Router, Switch, Firewall) network vendors.
- Detailed knowledge of network sniffing tools like Wireshark, TCP dumps.
- Detailed knowledge of the OSI model.
- Detailed knowledge of Dynamic Routing Protocol (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and VRF creation.
- Detail knowledge in switching technologies (VLAN, STP, VTP, VSS, VDC, VPC, Ether Channel, Stacking)
- Detail knowledge in Firewall technologies ( Inspection, Capture date for analyzing , Failover, Stateless flow, Policy Map)
- Detail knowledge of QoS to configure in Router, Firewall and Switch for Data and Voice Traffic.
- Good knowledge of ACL filtering (Router, Switch, and Firewall)
- Good knowledge to achieve High availability with (Cisco, PAN, and Juniper )
- Good knowledge of protocols IP SLA, EEM Script, IPsec, SSL VPN.
- Good knowledge of configuring NAT on Cisco, Juniper, and Palo alto
- Detailed knowledge with Meraki Wireless to add new devices, troubleshoot issues and configuration.
- Advanced troubleshooting skill
- Understanding of Cloud technologies like GCP (Google cloud) or AWS.
